Gold and/or lace can be tricky but this was a perfect balance from Dolce & Gabbana. I am usually not a fan of half solid lining and half pure sheer on legs but here it is seemingless. The level of rich and sophisticated details called for a flowing simple hairstyle on Selena Gomez.

In the Designer focus on InStyle November issue I enjoyed the piece on Vera Wang. She has very high standard for everything she designs from gorgeous gowns to simple sportswear. I love a colorful wedding gowns: it makes you want to renew your vows or getting married many times over :-).Vera Wang Wedding Spring 2013.

I am thrilled by all these Fall 2012 trends and I am happy for the return of an easy go-to-piece that makes many casual outfits pop: a fur or faux fur vest, particularly a long cut a la Rachel Zoe. A fur vest is the easiest accessory to throw over a dress (a summer floral dress is now a perfect fall outfit) or to take your jeans, leggings or jackets to the next level.

FashionNée. Many of us feel that we were born with this "fashion instinct". Being French made it easy for me to think of using the French translation of Born : Née.

All fashion lovers can relate when I say there is not a day I am not aware of fashion. We use an instinctive thought process to our daily outfit whether it shall take seconds or days.

Above all, I love  that Fashion is part of all of us. Whether you make an effort or not you are saying something. Whether you pay attention or not to fashion, it is a snap shot of society. It's simply part of our life.  For that reason, I would like to  select pictures or articles to keep track of what attracts me whether it is fashion, costume design, interior design, architecture or art ... The goal is not to always find out what are the latest trends but to appreciate interesting styles. However, I might just start with what seem so far from the real world but is the embodiment of fashion: award shows. Stay tuned.
